Florisa worked with my family as Care Manager for my recently deceased younger brother Gary.
Gary had an array of serious physical and emotional complications in his later years. In addition to co-morbid obesity, he suffered from stage 4 kidney disease, cardiovascular disease, chronic depression, diabetes, and hypertension. In addition, no family member lived within 3000 miles of Gary’s Connecticut skilled nursing home. In this era of COVID travel prohibition, Gary was unfortunately isolated.
Florisa was truly a difference-maker in this complicated situation. No task was too unpleasant or difficult for her. She capably managed Gary’s care with a positive, caring concern for him. She quickly won Gary’s confidence and was able to be the go-between person with nurses, aides, doctors, lawyers, medical insurance personnel, etc. We feel incredibly grateful for everything Florisa did for Gary.
